We want you to shop with confidence. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible products within 7 calendar days of delivery for a refund or exchange, subject to the conditions below.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unused and in its original condition
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components must be included
- Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided
- The product must not show signs of installation damage, misuse, modification, or abuse
Non-Returnable Items
The following items may not qualify for return unless defective:
- Special-order or imported-on-request products
- Software licenses or digital products
- Installed or permanently mounted products
- Consumable items
- Products damaged by incorrect installation or misuse
Defective Product Warranty
Defective products are covered by a limited warranty for a period of 6-months, or longer manufacturer warrantee, from date of purchase. In instances where a longer warranty is specified by the Manufacturer at time of purchase, such longer period will apply.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware failures under normal intended use
- Proof of installation by qualified electricians if switches connect to 220V Mains
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage
- Water or lightning damage
- Power surge damage
- Incorrect installation
- Unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
Warranty claims may require testing and inspection before approval.
Installation Service Warranty
Installation workmanship performed directly by Smart Products.Tech is covered by a 30-day service warranty from the installation completion date.
This warranty covers:
- Installation-related workmanship faults
- Configuration issues directly related to the original service provided
The warranty excludes:
- Customer-caused changes after installation
- Third-party modifications
- Internet service provider issues
- Power-related faults
- Hardware defects unrelated to workmanship
Return Shipping
Unless a product is confirmed defective or incorrectly supplied, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend using a tracked courier service for all returns.
